Battle of the Riven Mountain

This battle was the biggest martial conflict in the history of the Dreaming. It was waged between the Sidhe and the Trolls for the right to rule the Dreaming. The battle took place at Undermountain.

The incident which precipitated the war was the Judgment of Balor.

Important figures in the battle, and their deeds:

• Deep Giant led the Trolls in battle. He almost defeated Lord Gwydion twice in personal combat, but was killed by Lady Eiluned.
• Lord Aelil only appears at the end of the battle, in the Halls of the Mountain King when Lord Gwydion storms it. By appearances, at least, he is on the side of the Trolls.
• Lord Balor betrayed his fellow Sidhe by not participating, along with his House, in the battle. Instead, he took control of Arcadia.
• Lord Dougal gave his sword to Lord Gwydion when the latter had his own blade broken by Deep Giant. He went on to kill lots of Trolls with his bare hands.
• Lady Eiluned arrived halfway through the battle, just in time for her to rescue Lord Gwydion by killing Deep Giant.
• Lady Fiona generally fought well. A sterling second in command to Lord Gwydion.
• Lord Gwydion led the Sidhe. Had his sword break when he was fighting Deep Giant. Lord Dougal gave him his own sword, but the Troll had moved on. They later engaged again, and Lord Gwydion was losing, when Lady Eiluned showed up and killed Deep Giant.
• Lord Leanhaun betrayed his fellow Sidhe by not participating, along with his House, in the battle.
• Lord Liam did nothing too spectacular.
• Lord Scathach - No idea. Something nifty.
• Mountain King was killed by Lord Gwydion.
